Character Notes: Mai is so cute yet sexy at the same time! Even though many people have cosplayed as her, she's another "classic" that I really wanted to cosplay as. I really like the rope braid that lines her sleeves.
Costume Notes: I made this costume for E3 2004. I decided to go with the boots shown on the fan art above because I thought they were really cute. The wig was styled by Gina and Will.
Cosplay Notes: I debuted this costume at E3 2004, where I got to work at the 1UP.com booth. It was a lot of fun! The best part was that the President of SNK USA, the makers of King of Fighters, was so impressed with the costume that he said he might hire us for their booth next year! This costumes is fast becoming my most worn costume for the 2004 con season!
